MSc and PhD from EPFL. Led teams of up to 70+ contributors across IBM, NIH, Roche/Genentech, Mayo Clinic, and Mount Sinai. Based in Switzerland, previously 10 years in the US.
Since returning to Switzerland, I've been on a self-directed sabbatical: time with family and friends, and a deliberate deep-dive that brings all my skills together (full-stack engineering, infrastructure, security, ontology, UX/UI, developer experience, AI-assisted development) to build Hyterion, an AI-native development platform, and a first product on top of it.

Private monorepo that evolves the platform ideas I piloted in Sage Monorepo (below) into an AI-native, sovereign setup composed from proven open-source building blocks: agentic workflows on Claude Code (custom skills, MCP servers, autonomous issue-to-PR pipelines with CI-gated self-review), self-hosted CI on ephemeral VMs joined to a WireGuard mesh, full observability, encrypted secrets management, and infrastructure-as-code that stands up dev, staging, and prod environments for a product in minutes. Cost and carbon efficiency guide the design throughout: infrastructure is provisioned on demand and torn down when idle. It currently powers an unreleased product I design, build, and operate end to end: full-stack TypeScript/React on Cloudflare Workers, a Go provisioning service, PostgreSQL, and a linked-data ontology. Sage Monorepo — Developer Platform
Monorepo designed to improve developer experience and accelerate the development of full-stack applications. Powers 5+ products including BioArena, Agora, and MODEL-AD. Adopted by 7 engineers across 3 teams who joined the initiative and chose to build their products on the platform. Shared infrastructure, reusable components, and standardized tooling.

BioArena — Gamified AI Benchmarking
Crowdsourced benchmarking platform where the community evaluates AI models on biomedical topics through head-to-head battles (36 models, 407 battles, 100 users). Designed the logo and brand identity. The Community Quest turned battles into blocks of a medieval arena built in Minecraft, with weekly story chapters driving engagement: an experiment in motivating crowdsourced participation through narrative and play.
