VCam OBS Plugin

This is an OBS plugin to enhance the collaboration between VCam and OBS Studio.

これはmacOS用アバターアプリ VCam と OBS Studio をより快適に連携するためのプラグインです。

⚠️ macOS 12.3 or later / macOS 12.3以降

Feature / 機能

  • Making the background transparent without chroma key

  • Lower resource usage compared to traditional OBS video capture

  • クロマキー無しで背景を透過可能

  • OBS従来の映像キャプチャよりも負荷が少なく快適

Installation / インストール

Download the .pkg file from Releases under Assets and open the file to install.

After installation, please restart OBS Studio.

Releases の Assets から .pkg ファイルをダウンロードし、ファイルを開いてインストールします。

インストール後、OBS Studioは再起動してください。

How to use / 使い方

  1. Click the "+ button" of sources in OBS Studio and select "VCam" to add it as a source.
  2. Open VCam app, go to the settings, and select "Experiment" to enable the "Use the new virtual camera" option.
  3. OBS Studio will show the avatar from VCam.

  2. VCamアプリを開き、設定メニューから「実験的な機能」を選択し、「新しい仮想カメラを使用する」を有効にします。
  3. OBS StudioにVCamの映像が映ります。

Making Background Transparent without Chroma Key / クロマキー無しで背景を透明にする

Click on the background setting image in VCam, set the background color opacity to 0%, and the background will become transparent.

VCamの背景選択 (image) をクリックし、背景色の不透明度を0%にすると背景が透明になります。

This is an OBS plugin to enhance the collaboration between VCam and OBS Studio.

Installation / インストール
Download the .pkg file from Releases under Assets and open the file to install.
After installation, please restart OBS Studio.
Releases の Assets から .pkg ファイルをダウンロードし、ファイルを開いてインストールします。
インストール後、OBS Studioは再起動してください。
How to use / 使い方
  1. Click the "+ button" of sources in OBS Studio and select "VCam" to add it as a source.
  2. Open VCam app, go to the settings, and select "Experiment" to enable the "Use the new virtual camera" option.
  3. OBS Studio will show the avatar from VCam.
  1. OBS Studioのソースの「+ボタン」をクリックし、「VCam」を選択して、ソースに追加します。
  2. VCamアプリを開き、設定メニューから「実験的な機能」を選択し、「新しい仮想カメラを使用する」を有効にします。
  3. OBS StudioにVCamの映像が映ります。
Making Background Transparent without Chroma Key / クロマキー無しで背景を透明にする
Click on the background setting image in VCam, set the background color opacity to 0%, and the background will become transparent.
VCamの背景選択 (image) をクリックし、背景色の不透明度を0%にすると背景が透明になります。
