Added a health check query parameter to workflow endpoints.

What changed?

  • Added a withHealthCheck function that wraps request handlers to check for the __health query parameter
  • When a request includes ?__health, the endpoint returns a 200 OK response immediately
  • Applied this wrapper to both workflow and step entrypoints

How to test?

  1. Make a request to any workflow endpoint with the __health query parameter: 
    curl https://your-app.vercel.app/.well-known/workflow/v1/flow?__health
  2. Verify that the endpoint returns a 200 OK response with "OK" in the body

Why make this change?

This change enables health checking of workflow endpoints without triggering actual workflow execution. This is useful for monitoring systems to verify that workflow endpoints are accessible and responsive without causing side effects or consuming resources unnecessarily.

Added a health check query parameter to workflow endpoints.
What changed?
  • Added a withHealthCheck function that wraps request handlers to check for the __health query parameter
  • When a request includes ?__health, the endpoint returns a 200 OK response immediately
  • Applied this wrapper to both workflow and step entrypoints
How to test?
  1. Make a request to any workflow endpoint with the __health query parameter:

    curl https://your-app.vercel.app/.well-known/workflow/v1/flow?__health

  2. Verify that the endpoint returns a 200 OK response with "OK" in the body
Why make this change?
This change enables health checking of workflow endpoints without triggering actual workflow execution. This is useful for monitoring systems to verify that workflow endpoints are accessible and responsive without causing side effects or consuming resources unnecessarily.

Added a health check query parameter to workflow endpoints.
What changed?
  • Added a withHealthCheck function that wraps request handlers to check for the __health query parameter
  • When a request includes ?__health, the endpoint returns a 200 OK response immediately
  • Applied this wrapper to both workflow and step entrypoints
How to test?
  1. Make a request to any workflow endpoint with the __health query parameter:

    curl https://your-app.vercel.app/.well-known/workflow/v1/flow?__health

  2. Verify that the endpoint returns a 200 OK response with "OK" in the body
Why make this change?
This change enables health checking of workflow endpoints without triggering actual workflow execution. This is useful for monitoring systems to verify that workflow endpoints are accessible and responsive without causing side effects or consuming resources unnecessarily.

Added a health check query parameter to workflow endpoints.
What changed?
  • Added a withHealthCheck function that wraps request handlers to check for the __health query parameter
  • When a request includes ?__health, the endpoint returns a 200 OK response immediately
  • Applied this wrapper to both workflow and step entrypoints
How to test?
  1. Make a request to any workflow endpoint with the __health query parameter:

    curl https://your-app.vercel.app/.well-known/workflow/v1/flow?__health

  2. Verify that the endpoint returns a 200 OK response with "OK" in the body
Why make this change?
This change enables health checking of workflow endpoints without triggering actual workflow execution. This is useful for monitoring systems to verify that workflow endpoints are accessible and responsive without causing side effects or consuming resources unnecessarily.

Added a health check query parameter to workflow endpoints.
What changed?
  • Added a withHealthCheck function that wraps request handlers to check for the __health query parameter
  • When a request includes ?__health, the endpoint returns a 200 OK response immediately
  • Applied this wrapper to both workflow and step entrypoints
How to test?
  1. Make a request to any workflow endpoint with the __health query parameter:

    curl https://your-app.vercel.app/.well-known/workflow/v1/flow?__health

  2. Verify that the endpoint returns a 200 OK response with "OK" in the body
Why make this change?
This change enables health checking of workflow endpoints without triggering actual workflow execution. This is useful for monitoring systems to verify that workflow endpoints are accessible and responsive without causing side effects or consuming resources unnecessarily.
