Contains some Python functions that can be used to acquire and summarise population cout from the WorldPop Global Demographic Dataset.

The QGIS PyPopRF plugin provides tools for high-resolution population prediction and dasymetric mapping. Using machine learning techniques, it processes geospatial data to generate accurate population distribution models. It is ideal for researchers and planners working with population and spatial data.

We develop Bayesian hieracrhical population modelling approach based on INLA-SPDE which produced estimates of population counts ion Nigeria at very fine area scales using datasets from health intervention campaign.

Current release of the Worldpop Global Demographic Data

jollofR version 0.4.0 is an R package that enables a statistical model-based rapid disaggregation of small area population estimates into demographic groups such as age , sex, ethnicity, etc. It is very user-friendly and only requires basic knowledge in statistical modelling.
