Canonicalize explicit `dir = "."` targets to the root manifest package identity while preserving one-artifact-per-target fan-out and isolated language packages. Includes focused coverage for canonical archive naming, full repository contents, output exclusion, and target isolation.
Unify zed install and zed overtake behind one typed --git-submodules / ZED_PKG_GIT_SUBMODULES contract, preserve recursive synchronization and mixed Git/Zed ownership, and keep modular flags2env routes compatible across install, develop, fetch, and Nix interop. All 17 exact-head workflows passed.

mainthrough merged PR #150 (ff166471) intoagent/global-zed-packages-final. The exact pre-sync global-profile head passed all 19 repository workflows, including strict Ubuntu/macOS/Windows profile certification and the full all-target Linux suite. This sync adds the canonical--git-submodules/ZED_PKG_GIT_SUBMODULEScontract and formatting-clean packing base before repinning the independent disposable-registry canary.
