Canonicalize explicit `dir = "."` targets to the root manifest package identity while preserving one-artifact-per-target fan-out and isolated language packages. Includes focused coverage for canonical archive naming, full repository contents, output exclusion, and target isolation.
Unify zed install and zed overtake behind one typed --git-submodules / ZED_PKG_GIT_SUBMODULES contract, preserve recursive synchronization and mixed Git/Zed ownership, and keep modular flags2env routes compatible across install, develop, fetch, and Nix interop. All 17 exact-head workflows passed.

Bring current
mainthrough merged PR #150 (ff166471) intoagent/den-1468-devbox-flox-current-main. The pre-sync deterministic exporter is terminal-successful on Ubuntu 24.04, macOS 15, and Windows 2025 for formatting, eight unit tests, six real CLI tests, strict Clippy, and checkout cleanliness. This sync adds only the canonical--git-submodules/ZED_PKG_GIT_SUBMODULEScompatibility contract and formatting-clean packing base before final promotion.
