Problem

After a merge command succeeds, the UI shows a success toast while the Merge button still reads Merging until refreshed pull request data arrives.

What changed

Preview

Disabled purple Merged button after a successful merge

Verification

  • Web merge-button unit tests: 83 passed.
  • Pull request action-state unit tests: 5 passed.
  • Changed-file lint passed.
  • Web package typecheck passed.

Stack

This PR targets the head branch of pingdotgg#6271 and contains one commit on top of it.

Risk is limited to the merge-button presentation. The action lifecycle from pingdotgg#6271 is unchanged.

Problem
After a merge command succeeds, the UI shows a success toast while the Merge button still reads Merging until refreshed pull request data arrives.
What changed
Preview
Disabled purple Merged button after a successful merge
Verification
  • Web merge-button unit tests: 83 passed.
  • Pull request action-state unit tests: 5 passed.
  • Changed-file lint passed.
  • Web package typecheck passed.
Stack
This PR targets the head branch of pingdotgg#6271 and contains one commit on top of it.
Risk is limited to the merge-button presentation. The action lifecycle from pingdotgg#6271 is unchanged.
