Removes "packageManager": "pnpm@10.24.0" and the pnpm engines entry from packages/middleware/fastify/package.json. Aligns with the other middleware packages.

Motivation and Context

packageManager belongs in the workspace root only (already at pnpm@10.26.1). When a subpackage declares its own, corepack attempts a version switch when pnpm is invoked from the package directory — found during the alpha publish dry-run when pnpm pack from inside the fastify dir failed on corepack signature verification.

pnpm --filter ... pack from the workspace root works fine (root's packageManager applies), so this isn't a publish blocker. But it's the only subpackage with the field, and pnpm strips it from the published tarball anyway — it's pure noise.

How Has This Been Tested?

jq verifies the JSON is valid and the field is gone. engines now matches the hono/express/node sibling pattern ({"node": ">=20"} only).

Breaking Changes

None.

Types of changes

  • Bug fix (non-breaking change which fixes an issue)
  • New feature (non-breaking change which adds functionality)
  • Breaking change (fix or feature that would cause existing functionality to change)

Checklist

  • I have read the MCP Documentation
  • My code follows the repository's style guidelines
  • New and existing tests pass locally
  • I have added appropriate error handling
  • I have added or updated documentation as needed

Additional context

Found during pre-publish verification of #1420. Doesn't block alpha.1 (CI publishes from workspace root) but worth cleaning up.

packageManager belongs in the workspace root only (already at
pnpm@10.26.1). The stale pnpm@10.24.0 here causes corepack to attempt
a version switch when invoking pnpm from the package directory.
Also drop the pnpm engines entry to match sibling middleware packages.

  • Documentation update

Single-file change to packages/middleware/fastify/package.json: removes "packageManager": "pnpm@10.24.0" and the "pnpm": ">=10.24.0" engines entry. No logic changes.

Security risks

None. This is a package metadata cleanup with no code execution paths.

Level of scrutiny
