3D Printing

Hi! Thanks for sharing this project. I am interested in trying to print the current design. After exporting each part to .stl and importing to Ultimaker Cura, I could not find an obvious way to position the two parts below and was wondering how did you go about printing them?

Also wonder if the curved side faces of the longer links have a purpose or could be made flat and rectangular to make printing easier/faster?
