[finding] The v18 direction-B tracker "#6590" is a 404, but two component.zod.ts sites still point decisions at it — and the #9249 landing note it was owed cannot be delivered #11269

Description

@os-sam

Found at #9249's landing window (spec seat, session_01RadETjNRLALFLhFA3xehZP, 2026-08-23). Filed unassigned for triage; recording, not claiming.

Measured

Why it matters

The direction-B v18 decision now has no resolvable tracking card while the source text tells the next author one exists. Additionally, its factual premise has moved: PR #11244 (#9249) retired element:form whole, and #9220 had already retired element:filter — so both named element carriers of the flat family are gone, and what remains of the direction-B question is only the ElementDataSourceSchema-side flat keys (whose docblock PR #11244 already updated to record the carrier status). The subsumption content that was owed to #6590 is preserved here and in that docblock.

Suggested disposition (triage's call)

Either (a) locate where #6590 went (transfer target / discussion) and confirm the two source refs still resolve for a human, or (b) mint a new v18 direction-B card with the current premise (both element carriers retired; remaining scope = the ElementDataSourceSchema flat keys) and fix the two component.zod.ts refs in a mechanical follow-up. A dangling tracking ref in contract source is the same class as a dead evidence pointer (#11210) — it survives review because it looks precise.
