Summary

Adds two optional fields to twist package.json, alongside displayName:

  • handle — at-mention / attribution label (defaults to displayName)
  • threadType — connection-picker label; when present, the twist appears in the new-thread connection picker

The CLI reads both from package.json and forwards them in the deploy request body. Server-side handling and Flutter consumption land in a separate PR in plotday/core.

Includes a changeset (@plotday/twister: minor).

Test plan

  • CI build green
  • pnpm validate-changesets clean (verified locally)
  • cd twister && pnpm build clean (verified locally)
  • Deploy a twist with handle / threadType in package.json and confirm both reach the server

Replaces `LinkTypeConfig.targets` and the status-level `createDefault`
opt-in with a single nested `compose` block. Each compose entry declares
its picker mode (channels/contacts/addresses), default status, and
optional label override. Connectors that need multiple compose modes
declare separate linkTypes — one per user-facing thread type.
Collapses Gmail's `email`+`gmail-email` (2→1) and the
Slack/Chat/Teams `message`+`*-channel`+`*-dm` triples (3→2: `thread`
and `dm`, both syncable and composable). Sync transforms emit the
correct unified type per conversation; existing connector
`onCreateLink` paths branch on the new ids. Plot's filter UI now shows
one chip per user-perceived thread type ("Gmail thread", "Slack
thread", "Slack direct messages").
Other connectors (Linear, Airtable, Google Tasks) move
`createDefault` into `compose.status`. Linear's per-team workflow-state
UUID is supplied via channel-level `compose.status` (resolved by
`onCreateLink`'s existing `resolveStateId`).
Gmail sync-in also now emits `status: "sent"` for messages found only
under the SENT label, so Plot-composed and organically-sent threads
converge on the same state.

`createDefault` into `compose.status`. Linear's per-team workflow-state
UUID is supplied via channel-level `compose.status` (resolved by
`onCreateLink`'s existing `resolveStateId`).
Gmail sync-in also now emits `status: "sent"` for messages found only
under the SENT label, so Plot-composed and organically-sent threads
converge on the same state.

Summary

Adds two optional fields to twist package.json, alongside displayName:

  • handle — at-mention / attribution label (defaults to displayName)
  • threadType — connection-picker label; when present, the twist appears in the new-thread connection picker

The CLI reads both from package.json and forwards them in the deploy request body. Server-side handling and Flutter consumption land in a separate PR in plotday/core.

Includes a changeset (@plotday/twister: minor).

Test plan

  • CI build green
  • pnpm validate-changesets clean (verified locally)
  • cd twister && pnpm build clean (verified locally)
  • Deploy a twist with handle / threadType in package.json and confirm both reach the server

Replaces `LinkTypeConfig.targets` and the status-level `createDefault`
opt-in with a single nested `compose` block. Each compose entry declares
its picker mode (channels/contacts/addresses), default status, and
optional label override. Connectors that need multiple compose modes
declare separate linkTypes — one per user-facing thread type.
Collapses Gmail's `email`+`gmail-email` (2→1) and the
Slack/Chat/Teams `message`+`*-channel`+`*-dm` triples (3→2: `thread`
and `dm`, both syncable and composable). Sync transforms emit the
correct unified type per conversation; existing connector
`onCreateLink` paths branch on the new ids. Plot's filter UI now shows
one chip per user-perceived thread type ("Gmail thread", "Slack
thread", "Slack direct messages").
Other connectors (Linear, Airtable, Google Tasks) move
`createDefault` into `compose.status`. Linear's per-team workflow-state
UUID is supplied via channel-level `compose.status` (resolved by
`onCreateLink`'s existing `resolveStateId`).
Gmail sync-in also now emits `status: "sent"` for messages found only
under the SENT label, so Plot-composed and organically-sent threads
converge on the same state.
