Public half of the auto-threading feature (core PR bumps this submodule).

Auto-threading lets opted-in connections fold a conversation that arrives as a run of separate top-level messages (Slack-channel culture) into a single thread, instead of one thread per message.

Twister SDK

  • NewLink.autoThread?: { key, mode } | null — connectors mark conversational links; key is the conversation grouping (channel id), mode is "sequential" (channel — LLM continuation check) or "fold" (DM — one running thread). A no-op unless the connection opted in, so connectors can set it unconditionally.
  • Connector.autoThreading (capability → app shows the per-connection toggle) and Connector.autoThreadingByDefault (seed the per-connection default; off by default).
  • Adds AutoThreadConfig / AutoThreadMode exports + changeset (minor).

Slack

  • Declares autoThreading = true.
  • transformSlackThread marks each link autoThread: { key: channelId, mode: <"D…" ? "fold" : "sequential"> } — 1:1 DMs fold into one running thread; channels and group DMs use the sequential continuation check.

The platform side (resolver, conversation_message table, saveLink gate/resolve, API route, Flutter toggle) lives in the core PR. Merge this first, then re-point the submodule there.

Slack

  • Declares autoThreading = true.
  • transformSlackThread marks each link autoThread: { key: channelId, mode: <"D…" ? "fold" : "sequential"> } — 1:1 DMs fold into one running thread; channels and group DMs use the sequential continuation check.

The platform side (resolver, conversation_message table, saveLink gate/resolve, API route, Flutter toggle) lives in the core PR. Merge this first, then re-point the submodule there.

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

Add NewLink.autoThread {key, mode} and Connector.autoThreading /
autoThreadingByDefault so opted-in connections can fold a conversation
that arrives as a run of separate top-level messages into a single
thread. Slack declares support and marks channel messages (sequential)
and DMs (fold).
