The existing session code is TLS 1.2 only. For TLS 1.3, I need to come up with a complete redesign first. Even for TLS 1.2, the existing session code is buggy, because TLS connections can't be terminated properly. IMHO it doesn't make sense to add a partly broken feature.

How did the redesign go? I'd love to get this in so we can make aiohttp support HTTPS proxies for cpython 3.8 :) |
