Tested this locally before deciding. TS 7 is legitimate (published by Microsoft's official microsoft1es npm account), but it's the new native/Go-compiled TypeScript rewrite, and vite-plugin-dts doesn't support it yet — npm run build-ts fails without installing the day-old @typescript/typescript6 compatibility shim alongside it. There's also no intermediate 6.x to bump to (6.0.3 is already latest-6). Closing for now; will revisit once the Vite/dts-plugin ecosystem catches up. See #76 for the vite+prettier bumps that did go through.
