Included behavior
Zed adopts only submodules with a valid regular-file
.zpkg.toml; truly missing manifests remain Git-managed, while invalid, directory-valued, or symlinked manifests fail closed. Fresh-clone frozen replay initializes both adopted and ordinary Git submodules without rewriting committed Zed intent.Refs DEN-1612.
