Goal

Maintain a visible, prioritized catalogue of optional product capabilities for Track Session Timer beyond the current v3.3 scope. Creating an item here records the idea; it does not commit the project to implementation.

Product principles

• Keep the running timer immediately readable and safe to operate in a moving vehicle.
• Preserve reliable offline operation on constrained MicroPython hardware.
• Make optional hardware and connectivity degrade cleanly when unavailable.
• Protect settings and flash storage from corruption or excessive writes.
• Require host-side tests and physical-device validation appropriate to each feature.
