The cy test feels like a weird fit but I'm not against it. I wonder if we should have a file dedicated for checking gates.
But that's for later. This is good to merge.
Release-please should allow you to merge in a release PR for the compiler if you want one. If so, please double check the corresponding diff because that will be the first compiler release using it.
Hopefully it'll know that tests in Selene-sim don't call for a selene-sim release but I don't know for sure.
