Problem

Integrate the next reviewed upstream batch while preserving CMD Riker fork authority and Lead Agent behavior.

Previous integrated upstream: b883fc066ea5c9bebbe1c3e9b4bc2471aab3685f
New frozen upstream: aab4049646ffa8b9bcff92562992e6c3a8554bf0
Tested integration head: 89b75af57e1d7792073fcd0eb3b3b24cda1bda8a

Blocking issue: #19

Incoming commits and source pull requests

Risk and review

  • 90 commits; 661 files; 38,160 additions; 14,753 deletions.
  • Web, desktop, mobile, server, persistence, providers, contracts, dependencies, packaging, release, remote update, and native Ghostty surfaces changed.
  • Actions remained disabled. Workflow delta only removes commented Windows-manifest code.
  • Release identity gate remains in force; this PR does not publish or distribute a Riker build.
  • Expo Sharing package, lockfile, workspace config, and patch agree on 57.0.17.

Conflicts and fork preservation

One textual conflict in packages/contracts/src/environment.ts: retained fork leadAgent; added upstream serverUpdateThreadContinuation, desktopAppUpdate, and desktop-app update method.

One semantic conflict found by web typecheck: upstream deleted the Card primitive while fork-only LeadAgentPage remained its sole consumer. Replaced that one wrapper with equivalent local surface styling; did not restore the deleted 196-line abstraction.

Capability delta

  • Lead Agent client contract remains branded projectId only.
  • Server still resolves and canonicalizes the configured project path before riker gateway --project.
  • Riker RPC authorization, project isolation, reconnect behavior, and sanitized errors remain covered.
  • Stock provider/model enums do not control CMD Riker Native Harness selection.
  • Provider driver kind remains an open branded slug; Copilot remains available under CMD Riker Model Policy despite no stock T3 adapter.

Verification

Detached Windows checkout; package/cloud/GitHub credential environment scrubbed.

corepack pnpm install --frozen-lockfile
corepack pnpm exec vp test run packages/contracts/src/leadAgent.test.ts apps/server/src/riker/LeadAgentProjectResolver.test.ts apps/server/src/riker/RikerOwnerGateway.test.ts apps/server/src/riker/LeadAgentBridge.test.ts apps/web/src/components/lead-agent/LeadAgentPage.test.tsx
corepack pnpm exec vp test run apps/server/src/server.test.ts -t "Lead Agent"
corepack pnpm exec vp run --filter @t3tools/contracts typecheck
corepack pnpm exec vp run --filter t3 typecheck
corepack pnpm exec vp run --filter @t3tools/web typecheck
git diff --check

Final exact-head result: 31/31 focused Riker + Lead Agent UI tests passed; 2/2 filtered server Lead Agent tests passed; contracts/server/web typechecks passed; diff check clean; detached tracked tree clean.

Expanded prior-merge-head matrix:

  • Persistence/projection: 7 files, 126 tests passed.
  • Web: 15 files, 510 tests passed.
  • Mobile JS: 11 files, 208 tests passed.
  • Server filtered CORS/update: 5 tests passed.
  • Shared/client/server/provider/desktop/update suites: 1,148 tests passed; Windows-host failures remained in ten files byte-identical to frozen upstream.
  • Typechecks passed for server, desktop, mobile, client-runtime, contracts, shared, effect-acp, effect-codex-app-server, tailscale, and scripts.
  • Targeted lint: 581 changed TS/TSX paths in 12 chunks, passed with 3 warnings.
  • Targeted format: 553 matched changed files in 12 chunks, passed.
  • pnpm lint:mobile passed; SwiftLint, ktlint, and detekt unavailable and skipped.

Draft blocker

Not merge-ready: batch breadth plus macOS desktop/update, iOS/Android native module, and Ghostty binary evidence are incomplete. WSL reproduction also blocked by Node 22 versus required Node 24 and missing make. See #19.

Actions stayed disabled and every publication target remained berghtho/t3code.

Performed by OpenAI GPT-5 in the Codex desktop Native Harness.

Takes over pingdotgg#6608 by @x1xhlol.
Server: thread.message-sent updates the projection row directly and folds latestUserMessageAt in as a running maximum instead of running refreshThreadShellSummary. Client: thread.activity-appended takes an O(1) append path for in-order, unseen activities on reducer-produced arrays, with a WeakMap id index, and falls back to filter and sort for out-of-order, re-delivered, context-window, and snapshot-loaded cases.
Reducer benchmark: 10,000 in-order appends went from 1,180 ms to 70 ms.
Change authored by Claude Fable 5.1 running in Claude Code, based on work by @x1xhlol.
Co-authored-by: Lucas Valbuena <lucknitelol@proton.me>
WebSocket reconnect catch-up only checked the number of missing events, then loaded and decoded the whole replay range before sending it. A handful of events with large tool payloads could allocate gigabytes and OOM the server.
Before replaying, run a SQL preflight that counts the events in the range and sums their serialized payload bytes with octet_length(). If the range is over the existing row limit or an 8 MiB byte budget, fall back to the fresh snapshot path. Applies to both thread and shell subscriptions.
Authored by @rcawston. Review, octet_length fix, and merge by Claude Fable 5.1 in Claude Code on behalf of @t3dotgg.

Problem

Integrate the next reviewed upstream batch while preserving CMD Riker fork authority and Lead Agent behavior.

Previous integrated upstream: b883fc066ea5c9bebbe1c3e9b4bc2471aab3685f
New frozen upstream: aab4049646ffa8b9bcff92562992e6c3a8554bf0
Tested integration head: 89b75af57e1d7792073fcd0eb3b3b24cda1bda8a

Blocking issue: #19

Incoming commits and source pull requests

Risk and review

  • 90 commits; 661 files; 38,160 additions; 14,753 deletions.
  • Web, desktop, mobile, server, persistence, providers, contracts, dependencies, packaging, release, remote update, and native Ghostty surfaces changed.
  • Actions remained disabled. Workflow delta only removes commented Windows-manifest code.
  • Release identity gate remains in force; this PR does not publish or distribute a Riker build.
  • Expo Sharing package, lockfile, workspace config, and patch agree on 57.0.17.

Conflicts and fork preservation

One textual conflict in packages/contracts/src/environment.ts: retained fork leadAgent; added upstream serverUpdateThreadContinuation, desktopAppUpdate, and desktop-app update method.

One semantic conflict found by web typecheck: upstream deleted the Card primitive while fork-only LeadAgentPage remained its sole consumer. Replaced that one wrapper with equivalent local surface styling; did not restore the deleted 196-line abstraction.

Capability delta

  • Lead Agent client contract remains branded projectId only.
  • Server still resolves and canonicalizes the configured project path before riker gateway --project.
  • Riker RPC authorization, project isolation, reconnect behavior, and sanitized errors remain covered.
  • Stock provider/model enums do not control CMD Riker Native Harness selection.
  • Provider driver kind remains an open branded slug; Copilot remains available under CMD Riker Model Policy despite no stock T3 adapter.

Verification

Detached Windows checkout; package/cloud/GitHub credential environment scrubbed.

corepack pnpm install --frozen-lockfile
corepack pnpm exec vp test run packages/contracts/src/leadAgent.test.ts apps/server/src/riker/LeadAgentProjectResolver.test.ts apps/server/src/riker/RikerOwnerGateway.test.ts apps/server/src/riker/LeadAgentBridge.test.ts apps/web/src/components/lead-agent/LeadAgentPage.test.tsx
corepack pnpm exec vp test run apps/server/src/server.test.ts -t "Lead Agent"
corepack pnpm exec vp run --filter @t3tools/contracts typecheck
corepack pnpm exec vp run --filter t3 typecheck
corepack pnpm exec vp run --filter @t3tools/web typecheck
git diff --check

Final exact-head result: 31/31 focused Riker + Lead Agent UI tests passed; 2/2 filtered server Lead Agent tests passed; contracts/server/web typechecks passed; diff check clean; detached tracked tree clean.

Expanded prior-merge-head matrix:

  • Persistence/projection: 7 files, 126 tests passed.
  • Web: 15 files, 510 tests passed.
  • Mobile JS: 11 files, 208 tests passed.
  • Server filtered CORS/update: 5 tests passed.
  • Shared/client/server/provider/desktop/update suites: 1,148 tests passed; Windows-host failures remained in ten files byte-identical to frozen upstream.
  • Typechecks passed for server, desktop, mobile, client-runtime, contracts, shared, effect-acp, effect-codex-app-server, tailscale, and scripts.
  • Targeted lint: 581 changed TS/TSX paths in 12 chunks, passed with 3 warnings.
  • Targeted format: 553 matched changed files in 12 chunks, passed.
  • pnpm lint:mobile passed; SwiftLint, ktlint, and detekt unavailable and skipped.

Draft blocker

Not merge-ready: batch breadth plus macOS desktop/update, iOS/Android native module, and Ghostty binary evidence are incomplete. WSL reproduction also blocked by Node 22 versus required Node 24 and missing make. See #19.

Actions stayed disabled and every publication target remained berghtho/t3code.

Performed by OpenAI GPT-5 in the Codex desktop Native Harness.

Problem

Integrate the next reviewed upstream batch while preserving CMD Riker fork authority and Lead Agent behavior.

Previous integrated upstream: b883fc066ea5c9bebbe1c3e9b4bc2471aab3685f
New frozen upstream: aab4049646ffa8b9bcff92562992e6c3a8554bf0
Tested integration head: 89b75af57e1d7792073fcd0eb3b3b24cda1bda8a

Blocking issue: #19

Incoming commits and source pull requests

Risk and review

  • 90 commits; 661 files; 38,160 additions; 14,753 deletions.
  • Web, desktop, mobile, server, persistence, providers, contracts, dependencies, packaging, release, remote update, and native Ghostty surfaces changed.
  • Actions remained disabled. Workflow delta only removes commented Windows-manifest code.
  • Release identity gate remains in force; this PR does not publish or distribute a Riker build.
  • Expo Sharing package, lockfile, workspace config, and patch agree on 57.0.17.

Conflicts and fork preservation

One textual conflict in packages/contracts/src/environment.ts: retained fork leadAgent; added upstream serverUpdateThreadContinuation, desktopAppUpdate, and desktop-app update method.

One semantic conflict found by web typecheck: upstream deleted the Card primitive while fork-only LeadAgentPage remained its sole consumer. Replaced that one wrapper with equivalent local surface styling; did not restore the deleted 196-line abstraction.

Capability delta

  • Lead Agent client contract remains branded projectId only.
  • Server still resolves and canonicalizes the configured project path before riker gateway --project.
  • Riker RPC authorization, project isolation, reconnect behavior, and sanitized errors remain covered.
  • Stock provider/model enums do not control CMD Riker Native Harness selection.
  • Provider driver kind remains an open branded slug; Copilot remains available under CMD Riker Model Policy despite no stock T3 adapter.

Verification

Detached Windows checkout; package/cloud/GitHub credential environment scrubbed.

corepack pnpm install --frozen-lockfile
corepack pnpm exec vp test run packages/contracts/src/leadAgent.test.ts apps/server/src/riker/LeadAgentProjectResolver.test.ts apps/server/src/riker/RikerOwnerGateway.test.ts apps/server/src/riker/LeadAgentBridge.test.ts apps/web/src/components/lead-agent/LeadAgentPage.test.tsx
corepack pnpm exec vp test run apps/server/src/server.test.ts -t "Lead Agent"
corepack pnpm exec vp run --filter @t3tools/contracts typecheck
corepack pnpm exec vp run --filter t3 typecheck
corepack pnpm exec vp run --filter @t3tools/web typecheck
git diff --check

Final exact-head result: 31/31 focused Riker + Lead Agent UI tests passed; 2/2 filtered server Lead Agent tests passed; contracts/server/web typechecks passed; diff check clean; detached tracked tree clean.

Expanded prior-merge-head matrix:

  • Persistence/projection: 7 files, 126 tests passed.
  • Web: 15 files, 510 tests passed.
  • Mobile JS: 11 files, 208 tests passed.
  • Server filtered CORS/update: 5 tests passed.
  • Shared/client/server/provider/desktop/update suites: 1,148 tests passed; Windows-host failures remained in ten files byte-identical to frozen upstream.
  • Typechecks passed for server, desktop, mobile, client-runtime, contracts, shared, effect-acp, effect-codex-app-server, tailscale, and scripts.
  • Targeted lint: 581 changed TS/TSX paths in 12 chunks, passed with 3 warnings.
  • Targeted format: 553 matched changed files in 12 chunks, passed.
  • pnpm lint:mobile passed; SwiftLint, ktlint, and detekt unavailable and skipped.

Draft blocker

Not merge-ready: batch breadth plus macOS desktop/update, iOS/Android native module, and Ghostty binary evidence are incomplete. WSL reproduction also blocked by Node 22 versus required Node 24 and missing make. See #19.

Actions stayed disabled and every publication target remained berghtho/t3code.

Performed by OpenAI GPT-5 in the Codex desktop Native Harness.

Takes over pingdotgg#6608 by @x1xhlol.
Server: thread.message-sent updates the projection row directly and folds latestUserMessageAt in as a running maximum instead of running refreshThreadShellSummary. Client: thread.activity-appended takes an O(1) append path for in-order, unseen activities on reducer-produced arrays, with a WeakMap id index, and falls back to filter and sort for out-of-order, re-delivered, context-window, and snapshot-loaded cases.
Reducer benchmark: 10,000 in-order appends went from 1,180 ms to 70 ms.
Change authored by Claude Fable 5.1 running in Claude Code, based on work by @x1xhlol.
Co-authored-by: Lucas Valbuena <lucknitelol@proton.me>
WebSocket reconnect catch-up only checked the number of missing events, then loaded and decoded the whole replay range before sending it. A handful of events with large tool payloads could allocate gigabytes and OOM the server.
Before replaying, run a SQL preflight that counts the events in the range and sums their serialized payload bytes with octet_length(). If the range is over the existing row limit or an 8 MiB byte budget, fall back to the fresh snapshot path. Applies to both thread and shell subscriptions.
Authored by @rcawston. Review, octet_length fix, and merge by Claude Fable 5.1 in Claude Code on behalf of @t3dotgg.
